Swedish Indie Goodness

We admit to being a bit nutty about our love for Swedish Indie Pop. It's for that reason that we're thrilled to be having a Labrador Records DJ set at the upcoming Mondo. Check out some of my favorite tunes from their catalog here:

Acid House Kings - Tonight Is Forever, finger snappin' good tune, for fans of Saint Etienne, Belle & Sebastian, and The Concretes.

The Legends - Call It Ours, catchy-jangly-hand-clappin' pop tune, for fans of Jesus & Mary Chain and The Ceasars.

The Radio Dept - Pet Grief, simply beautiful shoegazer'y bliss, for fans of My Bloody Valentine and the like.

Tribeca - The Sun Always Shines On TV, (not a cover) straddles perfectly between guitar and synthy-pop. For fans of New Order and Soviet.

Learn more about these artists and more at the Labrador Records website.
